SUMMARY:

Under general supervision performs Quality Control tests as required by sampling instructions to evaluate all finished products. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. 

  This is a rotating shift position. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform Quality Control tests on finished products according to established procedures.
  • Review all analysis results with supervisor, and grade all finished lots when testing is complete.
  • Enter all data into the laboratory database system.
  • Retain all finished samples and keep the retain sample room well organized and clean.
  • Train laboratory personnel as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry preferred.
  • 0-2 years in a laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry preferred.   
  • Have the ability to multi-task.
  • Superior communication (verbal & written), ability to motivate, prioritize, and organize in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to address issues, follow up, and implement solutions as required.
